Sewing Courses

Whether you’re looking to try a beginner-level or advanced class, you can sew at any level. We educate you on how to construct aesthetically pleasing garments that are easy on the hands for sewing, flattering to wear, and most importantly tailored to you. Many of our students join us with the intent to learn or master beginning sewing techniques. Soon after attending a course or two, our students tend to pursue more classes to enhance their skills and create advanced garments such as lingerie, jeans, or coats.

For 60 years, I’d struggled to find comfortable bras, paying over $100 to find one that was anywhere close to a good fit. When I decided to finally learn how to make my own (and the pandemic gave me time to do it) I tried for a year without any real success.
Then I met Nikki through GBSB and signed up for her class on the Shelley bra. For the first time, I made a bra that was actually wearable, and it felt like a miracle.
