I love to sew, make my own clothes and teach others how to do the same!
When I was 8 years old, my Granny knew I wanted to learn to sew but her sewing machine was broken. She taught me how to make a triangle halter top sewn by hand and after making about 10 of them that summer, I was hooked. Over the next 5 years I dismantled my old clothes and made new styles. I got my first sewing machine at age 12 and have been sewing the past 40 years. The fashion industry grabbed my attention and after 30 years of fashion retail, merchandising and sales and making clothing for myself and others. Today, I'm a sewing instructor in Atlanta and while our studio is closing due to COVID-19 I launched SEWING LESSONS LIVE and teaching beginner sewing lessons in my Zoom Sewing Room. Intermediate and Advanced classes are still available, but in the meantime, you're invited to join the Sewing Style Community and learn to sew.
Stay Safe and Keep Sewing!
